In an unexpected turn of events that can only be metaphorically described as 'musical chairs done right,' Columbia, Md.-based real estate credit and development company Poverni Sheikh Group (PSG, [@PSG]) has welcomed Noah Obuchowski into the new role of Chief Investment Officer. An expat from the revered real estate fraternity Cushman & Wakefield [@CushWakeUS], Obuchowski is set to helm PSG's self-storage development, acquisitions, and construction lending platforms.
Molding his illustrious career as an Executive Director with Cushman & Wakefield, the strikingly youthful Obuchowski (age 29 – yes, you read that right!) seems to be quite familiar with the PSG turf, given his five-year stint as its capital market advisor in the self-storage sector.
In a heartening frankness with Commercial Observer [@commobserver], Obuchowski said, "I found their growth journey, from their first project to where they are now, truly inspiring.”
And what's in this new endeavor for PSG, you ask? Well, over his career, Obuchowski has orchestrated a whopping 65 self-storage transactions that total an impressive $1.2 billion.
Moreover, a substantial chunk of Obuchowski’s previous exploits with self-storage have come while he was working with PSG, overseeing transactions totaling $125 million spread out across Maryland, D.C., New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
