Canadian Self-Storage giant Vaultra, Teams Up with Habitat for Humanity in Unique Holiday Giving Campaign
Vaultra Storage's charity campaign is on its way to making a tremendous impact this holiday season, partnering with Habitat for Humanity to reduce waste and provide donated household items to promote affordable housing.
On December 15, Canadian self-storage conglomerate Vaultra Storage will commence its charitable “Sleigh the Clutter” campaign in Hamilton, Ontario. This initiative invites community members to donate household essentials and furniture that will be collected and made available at their Sherman Ave. location.
In a remarkable collaboration, the donated items from the campaign will support Habitat For Humanity and its retail program, ReStore. ReStore is an eco-conscious program operated by local chapters. It enables the resale of reusable household items and building materials at a cheaper rate, thus efficiently preventing them from being chalked up as landfill waste. Proceeds from the sales of these donated goods are used to aid local families in building and renovating safe, affordable homes.
Speaking on the initiative's mission, Vaultra Storage officials proclaimed their aim to create “brighter futures for those in need...Imagine a self-storage unit filled with items that could impact a family’s life with household essentials, gently used furniture and more.”
